Three favorite SLC golf courses are Bonneville golf course and the two Mountain Dell courses because they are challenging, fun to play, but more importantly because of the views, incredible! Bonneville, Now, almost one hundred years since the opening of the original nine holes, Bonneville continues to be renowned for its superb conditions and classic layout. Situated on the East Bench of Salt Lake City, just minutes away from the heart of downtown, this gem offers awe inspiring sunsets and views of both the surrounding mountains and the entire Salt Lake valley. Bonneville's Official Site Mountain Dell's Two Courses, The Mountain Dell courses, situated 12 miles east of downtown Salt Lake City and at an altitude of 6,000 feet above sea level, offer 36 holes of breathtaking views and frequent glimpses of wildlife. The higher elevation provides ideal summer golfing conditions. The Canyon Course stretches up the eastern mountain from the clubhouse approximately four miles before looping back. Mountain Dell's Official Site Wasatch Golf Course in Midway is another favorite of ours. The well known Mountain and Lake courses at Wasatch Mountain State Park are consistently ranked among the most popular, affordable and scenic in Utah. Nationally, Golf Digest rated Wasatch Mountain as one of Utah's Best Places to Play, giving the facility 4.5 out of 5 stars. At an elevation of 6,000 feet, golfers enjoy cooler temperatures during summer months, but surprisingly, the course also offers early spring and late fall play. Well maintained, picturesque, a public course and yes, affordable. Southern Utah Golf Courses Hobble Creek up Springville Canyon, roughly 60 minutes south of Salt Lake City in Springville.
